| HELMET Don't forget a helmet! You may think you look dorky (witch you don't!) but it's better than falling on your head! Helmets, match your show outfits and keep you safe. If you don't want your helmet to get dirty, then you can buy a helmet cover. It's a cover that fits over your helmet and, they come in pretty cool designs too. |

| Boots Boots protect your feet if a horse steps on them. They also help you mount, and put your feet in the stirrups. |

| Body Protectors Body protecters protect your stomach and ribs if you were to fall off. |

| Gloves Gloves let you get a better grip on the reins, and protect your hands from the cold. |
| Now you know what to wear, but what about what not to wear? Here are some tips below: |
| WHAT NOT TO WEAR *Belly shirts. Belly shirts can scrape your belly if you fall off. Wear clothes that fit. *Flared jeans. Flared jeans can get caught in the stirrups. *Tennis shoes. If a horse steps on your foot, then it will hurt wearing regular shoes! *Dangly earings. Jewlry may get caught on your clothes and break.You can wear small earings. *Hats. If you wear a hat you can't wear a helmet! |
