Some people use the metal currycomb on their horses skin to scrape off dried mud. It is ok to do this if your horse has a long shaggy coat.Don't use it if your horse is a thin skinned Arabian or Thoroughbred. |

You could keep your horse in the stable durring the day and let him out at night. If you don't show a lot, you don't need to worry about his coat. There are shampoos that brighten coats. |
